Conférence animée par Ulysse GOSSET

Ulysse Gosset est éditorialiste international à BFM TV, il a été correspondant à Washington et à Moscou pour TF1 et Radio France. Ancien Directeur de la Rédaction Nationale de France 3, il a participé à la création de France 24 la Chaîne Française d’Information Internationale.

Ulysse Gosset a reçu à deux reprises le Grand Prix de la Presse Internationale en 2013, pour l’ensemble de sa carrière et en 2022 pour la couverture du conflit en Ukraine.

Il a interviewé les grandes personnalités qui font l’actualité mondiale : chefs d’Etat et de Gouvernement, Prix Nobel, dirigeants d’entreprises, leaders d’opinions (Mikhail Gorbatchev, Volodomyr Zelensky, Macky Sall, Antonio Guterres, Tony Blair, Romano Prodi, José Manuel Barroso, Ban Ki-moon, Kofi Annan, Paul Biya, Al Gore, Shimon Peres, Vaclav Havel, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Christine Lagarde, Jacques Chirac, François Hollande, Emmanuel Macron, Angelina Jolie, Bono, Michel Platini, Carlos Ghosn, etc…).

Il est l’auteur de « Histoire secrète d’un coup d’état » (1991, Lattes, Paris), « Le complexe d’Hillary Clinton » (1996, Lattes, Paris) et a réalisé plusieurs documentaires pour la radio et la télévision dont : “La Nomenklatura soviétique”, 1992, “Crime et châtiment en Amérique”, 1995, “Du rififi sur le Rio Grande”, “Drogue et immigration à la frontière des U.S.A. et du Mexique », 1998, “Paroles de bourreaux”, Usa 2000, “Immersion en Corée du Nord : Au Royaume des Kim”, 2021.

Thierry DE LA TOUR D’ARTAISE

À compter du 1er juillet 2022 : Président du Conseil d’administration (Président-Directeur Général depuis 2000). Président du Groupe SEB, Thierry de La Tour d’Artaise est né en octobre 1954 à Lyon, il est diplômé de l’ESCP (promotion 1976) et est Expert-Comptable. Il est également Officier de la Légion d’Honneur.

Il commence sa carrière au sein d’Allendale Insurance aux États-Unis en 1976 comme Contrôleur Financier avant d’intégrer, en 1979, le cabinet d’audit Coopers & Lybrand en qualité d’auditeur puis de Manager. Il entre ensuite dans le Groupe Chargeurs en 1983 où il sera successivement nommé Directeur Administratif et Financier puis Directeur Général des Croisières Paquet.

En 1994, il rejoint le Groupe SEB aux fonctions de Directeur Général puis de Président-Directeur Général de Calor S.A. (1996). En 1999, il est nommé Vice-Président-Directeur Général du Groupe SEB et en est, depuis 2000, le Président-Directeur Général.

Rémi DAUDIN

Remi Daudin MATERI’ACT Division VP, 59, holds a degree in engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, a PhD in elementary particle physics from the University of Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris and he is alumnus from the Ecole normale supérieure in Paris.

He initiated his career in public services (European Commission, French Ministries of Industry and Research).

He started his automotive career with PSA Peugeot Citroën in 1997, where he held several managerial positions in purchasing, production, sales and engineering.

In 2007 he became CEO of a software start up in the Oil Industry, FOROIL, delivering services to improve the production of mature fields.

He joined Faurecia in June 2013, as engineering director for South Europe region of Interior Systems. He moved to India in 2015, where he has been in charge of engineering for Interior Systems in Asia. then India R&D vice president.

In November 2019, he has been Group CO2 neutrality, then Sustainable transformation VP. As from June 2022 he leads MATERI’ACT Division.

 

Dr Pascal COLOMBANI

Dr. Colombani is Chair emeritus of the board of directors of Valeo, has been Chair and CEO of the French Atomic Energy Commission, and founding Chair of Areva.

He is a member of the EMEA advisory board of JPMorgan Chase, and a senior advisor to Kearney, the consulting firm. He also sits on the board of Nordzee Helikopteren Vlaanderen (NHV) and of the European American Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Colombani is a Council Member of the Science and Technology Forum (STS Kyoto Forum) and a member of the French Academy of Technology.

Dr. Pascal Colombani graduated in 1969 from Ecole Normale Supérieure (Lyon) and holds a doctorate in nuclear physics from the University of Paris XI. He began his career as a research scientist in France at CNRS and in California at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory. He joined Schlumberger in 1978, where he held several high-level positions over the next twenty years. both in oilfield services and in metering/electronics, in the US, in Europe and in Japan.

His successive assignments covered field operations as well as innovative technology development. From 1992 to 1995, he was at Schlumberger Limited in charge of European technical cooperation, also conducting various missions for the Chairman and CEO. From 1995 to 1998 was President of Schlumberger KK, based in Tokyo, also contributing to the development of Schlumberger activities in China.

Director of Technology at the French Ministry of Research and Technology from 1998 to 1999, Dr. Colombani was overseeing the strategy and operations of most French applied research establishments. He was appointed Chairman and CEO of the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) in 1999 and initiated the restructuring of the CEA industrial subsidiaries into Areva, becoming its founding chair (2001 to 2003).

Since 2003, Dr. Colombani has been a non-executive, independent director of UK, French and US based companies such as Valeo, British Energy Group, Alstom, Rhodia, Technip, TechnipFMC, Technip Energies, Energy Solutions Siaci Saint Honoré, EDF, the French Institute of Petroleum. He has been sitting on (or chairing) audit, nomination, remuneration and strategy committees and is considered as an expert on strategy development and on corporate governance. From 2013 to 2016, he was a member of the high committee on governance set up by French business organizations to monitor governance practices of public companies.

Over the years, Dr Colombani also sat on the boards of several schools, universities (notably Chair of ENS Cachan and board member of Sorbonne Université), state-owned research centers, has been a member of the advisory group on energy for the European Commission, and a member of the advisory board of Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems. As an expert on industry and academic research, he was appointed by the French government vice-chairman of the French Strategic Council for Research (2013-2019).

Lately Dr Colombani served as vice president of the committee in charge of industrial aspects of the French White Book on Defense and Security, as a member of the Industry Committee of the Armed Forces Ministry, and as Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic for the French / South African nuclear partnership (2015-2019). He is Officer of the Legion of Honor, Commander of the Order of Merit, and has been awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, gold and silver stars, by the government of Japan
