Last week, the European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) had the pleasure of hosting the 2025 Transatlantic Expansion Barometer Webinar.
We were honored to welcome 100+ participants from across our EACC network to explore how mid-sized European and U.S. firms are navigating today’s transatlantic investment landscape, particularly since the start of the hashtagTrump administration.
📊 A special thank you to Vincent Raufast, Head of Advisory at OCO Global, and Maxime Adam, Manager Audit & U.S. Practice at RSM France for presenting the findings of the second edition of the EACC-OCO-RSM Transatlantic Expansion Barometer.
Based on market analysis and interviews with over 65 European business leaders, this year’s Barometer highlighted key trends shaping investment flows:
🔹 Growing caution among European firms toward U.S. investments — though the U.S. remains their top growth market.
🔹 A sharp drop in U.S. investment into Europe, as U.S. firms increasingly prioritize domestic projects.
🔹 Mid-sized European companies exploring opportunities beyond both Europe and the U.S.
🔹 Tariff risks weighing heavily on decision-making, but not enough to trigger large-scale relocation of production to the U.S.
🙏 A sincere thank you to our high-level and engaged participants, with questions that kept our experts on their toes till the last minute!
